POLYESTER LINEN FIBER
Soft, absorbent, non-allergenic. High-hygroscopic fabric, fast dispersion of heat and humidity. Its pleasant sensation of freshness comes from the fiber’s morphological characteristics. It is crushproof, remaining firm even after frequent pressure.
Gives a unique sensation of a “super-filling”, facilitating the vapour dispersion and remaining dry; the linen fiber is naturally non-allergenic and anti-static.
CAMEL WOOL
During moulting season camels shed their finer inner hair (down) that, at the beginning of summer, is combed and gathered. We use only this soft down for our best mattresses’ coverings. The features of the camel wool are very similar to those of the pure virgin wool; compared with virgin wool, the camel wool is softer; it has an embracing comfort and absorbs more humidity. The camel wool is cooler during summer and warmer during winter.
We use camel wool coming from the uplands of Central Asia, where the camels mainly inhabit regions like deserts and mountains and are continuously exposed to big changes in temperature. Their hair has an excellent thermo-regulating function and protects them both from heat and from cold. The hair the camels shed during moulting season is just gathered, selected and processed in an organic way, remaining completely natural.
MERINO VIRGIN WOOL
From shearing the best wool sheep, the Merinos, it is obtained this thin and precious fiber, able to offer wellbeing and warmth during the most rigid periods of the year. Woll’s natural properties allow the dispersion of body humidity and keep a constant body temperature.
COTTON
Cotton is a natural fiber obtained from the cotton ball that covers the seeds of the plant of the same name.
The cotton fiber is soft and glossy, and it absorbs and dissipates humidity easily, keeping fresh the body part in contact with the fabric. Cotton is used during warm season because it gives a fresh and pleasant sensation of wellbeing.
HORSE HAIR
Horsehair has been for centuries an essential element for the fillings and the manufacturing of beds.
Adding horsehair to a bed is like having an extra two million springs. Ceriflex uses only the best quality horsehair – the long, flexible and silky fibers, characterized by strength and resilience, make it the perfect filling.
Horsehair does not break and does not lose its natural resilience, regains its original shape after a night of sleep.
Horsehair is a generic term that includes different types of curly horsehair, among which the one obtained from the tail and from the horse’s mane. The special processing method makes it very flexible and resilient in time, assuring freshness during the hot period, with a considerable ventilation. Horsehair has also hygroscopic properties: absorbs the natural body moisture without feeling damp.
COIR FILLING COCCO
Coir is the natural “filling” that covers the coconut. From the wavy fibers are obtained flexible and strong strands, which do not disintegrate in time, do not harbour dust and absorb body moisture.
Coir is a hygienic and eco-friendly material, and with the great ability of air ventilation that comes from the space between the single filaments.
POLYURETHANE FILLING
Viscoelastic polyurethane foam, with a polyester or polyether base. The flexible expanded polyurethane represents the overall most used filling, thanks to its resistance, crushproof, breathability and flexibility features.
BIO VISCO MEMORY FILLING
Bio Visco Memory used for the fillings is a self-moulding material made with water without CFCs. A highly ergonomic foam moulds itself to the body shape and sinks slowly without any pressure.
It perfectly moulds to the spine and it is antibacterial and non-allergenic.
